Hey, I saw a posting from a few months ago in another thread, and yeah, I wanted to get my hands on a Hip belt buckle, but it was sold on eBay already. But, if we really wanted to, couldn't we get them made somewhere figure out how many, contact a manufacturer to strike a dea, then each person contacts them to pay, give shipping info, and such? Seems like a lot of work, but if there's interest...?

I can't imagine there's a manufacturer out there that would take on a project like this without significant money up front to cover all of their costs. What you've proposed just isn't the way a business is run.

Your beat bet is to scour eBay, kijiji, craigslist and your local record shops. The buckles show up quite regularly.

I found on ebay a guy who does custom buckles (usually kids names etc) and had him make me one with HIP in the middle of a square. Cost me about $20 I think

Well I am counting many of the usual things that I am sure tons of hipbasers have like vinyl, limited release cd's, posters,etc.. I also have a number of backstage passes and working badges from some of the shows I help set up or sell swag at....and I have a few 1 of a kind art pieces too.... (1 from Day For Night seres ) I need to get all of this online with images and the story of how I got the rare pieces....but anyways one of the more interesting fun things I have is a CIGARETTE that Gord D handed me towards the end of Flamenco at the Phoenix in Toronto Dec 2005 I believe. Someone tossed it up towards Gord and his goalie like reflex had him catch it soo. cool and then gently bring it to his lips for the "pretend-smoke-mime"

What a great show. It was great to meet up with Jeffro, The Holmes brothers and see Lance again. Good to finally meet Dame and Chris to put some faces to names.

This was totally an amazing concert. I was listening to Johnny Cash's version of When the Man Comes Around on the way to the show and what do you know, the hip open with it. Flamenco and Daredevil sounded amazing. Robbie was really adding some extra guitar to the songs. The New Maybe sounded amazing live and Going Going Gone was also spectacular.

The Hip seemed like they never missed a beat and were as tight as ever. I'm really craving a hip tour more than anything right now. Paul sat down for the whole show as well.

Dame told me that one of his buddies threw a cigarette up on stage and Gord stuck his hand out really fast to catch it and pretended to smoke it. He then leaned over after about a minute and give it to Jeffro. Very funny moment.

Really hope to hear or see this someone way somehow soon.
