Forecast is getting better keep your fingers crossed I don't care about the rain it is the lightening I am worried about.

want to be a nobody without peer
want to be a thought that's never done
want to shake your faith in human nature
want to break the hearts of everyone
want to be your wheezing screen door
want to be your stars of Algonquin
want to be your roaring floorboard
want to break the hearts of everyone

Setlist. If there are mistakes, others can correct. Two sets. One encore.

Insomniacs of the World...Good Night
Canada Geese
Dance and its Disappearance
Retrace
Moon Over Glenora
Vancouver Divorce
Yer Possessed
The Hard Canadian
Gone

Trick Rider
Chancellor
The Drowning Machine
Yellow Days
Christmastime in Toronto
As A Mover
The East Wind
Figment

Pascal's Submarine
11th Fret
Night is for Getting

-------------------------------------

For me, the Chancellor - Drowning Machine - Yellow Days trio was absolutely fantastic. The crowd was pretty tame. But the got up at East Wind and stayed pretty upbeat from there. More tomorrow.

Now that you mention it, I remember it being played. Where in the set was it?

I believe Canada Geese was the first song played after Insomniacs.

The video clip was from the end of Vancouver Divorce. Gord came out to the front and let a few people strum his guitar. Then he sat in a girl's seat and had her sit on his lap and play his guitar. While she was playing he started going through her bag and pulling out all her belongings. Then the guitarist came down with a bottle of wine and started pouring them drinks.

Everyone seemed is good spirits. Lots of talking from all the band members, especially the drummer.

When the band came back after the first intermission, a woman decided it would be a good time to get an autograph. She goes up to Gord while he's at the mic and hands him the album and a marker. Gord looked at her and said something like, " Sure, it's not like I've got anything else to do."

Best moment of the night, for me, was the improvised "Shut up and play" tune. At one point in the show, the band was bantering (which they did a few times). Some guy yelled out, "Shut up and play!" When Gord responded, someone else yelled out, "Do whatever you want!" to which Gord responded, "I didn't realize that wasn't an option." The band then improvised a tune to which Gord sang, "Shut up and play," and, "Do what you want."

It was my brother who yelled "do whatcha want", made his day when Gord acknowledged him! I have it on video and will post on youtube when I get a chance. I also have him talking about the heat radiatiating off his eyeballs and fogging up his glasses...too funny! :thumb:

You need a slash in the closing youtube tag... And you only need the part after the equal sign.
