I tend to waste time now and then playing games on the comp, and while playing Everquest 2 I noticed an obvious Hip reference, I'm guessing one of the developers of the game is big fan.

Yes, what fingernailsonhull said, the Quest is called Nautical Disaster, and you have to find a tome, when you do , you can see it hi-lited, it's called At The Hundredth Meridian.
