Thanks! The first album has some good songs IMHO - All Over Again, +Clover, Solitude (My Tribe) and Slip Away are all good in my biased opinion. The new album is much better, I think.

Hello again - just wanted to let those who might be interested know that after 3 years of work my band's new album Shallow Water Blackout is finally done!
You can read a bit about it at http://www.fugitland.ca/ShallowWaterBlackout.shtml and for now can order it for $12 via paypal or cheque (if you are so inclined).
Not pushing it just letting you all know.
Let me know what you think if you get a chance - you can listen to a few songs on the new Tempus Fugit MySpace page - at http://www.myspace.com/tempusfugitcanada

Really good stuff.. has a bit of a barstool prophets vibe in some of the songs. I really like the progressive elements as well.
Also, did you guys derive your name from the Yes song?

Yes to Yes - the band started in High School back in 1986 - Prog influenced stuff, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, Yes, Marillion, RUSH etc, our motto should be "if there is a space to breathe we'll fill it with something - probably a prog keyboard of some sort"
We did a retrospectively humbling cassette in 1986 on 4 track called Beyond The Barrier which is about immortality or something - I think it is actually more pedantic than the title implies.
Then in 1997 we got together and played around Toronto until about 2001 - during which time we release "...When You're Having Fun" ... get it? Tempus Fugit - When You're Having Fun.... anyway - in 2007 we got back together and recorded this album which we've worked on - on and off - for the past 3 years.
We'll be doing a CD release in Feb 2011 in Toronto and probably a show in Montreal in April - I'll post info as I have it.
