Oh I've come into this late...
Now on one side, the caring part of me feels sorry for the trainer who died, but then the other tree-hugger part of me thinks 'what do you expect?'
You put something that would normally be in a large family pod, roaming hundreds of miles into, essntially a bath tub... Course it's going to stress out and go stir crazy!
The pics of the animal show a massively listing dorsal fin, showing that all it does is swim in circles... Absolute shame...
