A SNL producer, suitably impressed after a recent gig, approaches the band to do a prime time show - play two songs each less than 5 minutes - one from new material, one from their classic material (yes, all their songs are classic!). In an effort to appeal to the "unique music tastes" of the US audience, bolster their visibility down south, and show off their emmense talents, my choices would be:
1. The Last Recluse
2. It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken
Your choices?
P.S. This is a fib of course. Don't take it seriously. Just killing time during the concert lull.

Interesting thought. As much as we Hip fans appreciate We Are The Same I'm not sure any of the songs under 5 mins would have enough mainstream appeal to impress an American (or Canadian for that matter) audience. If I had to choose anything from WATS it would be Morning Moon.
If WC still counts as new material I'd suggest The Lonely End of the Rink would be the best choice.
I really like the choice of It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken. I'm a huge fan of this song and it's always delivered with somewhat of a chill.

There are pretty much only 2 songs that are over 5 minutes on WATS. (Suite, Struggle)
I would have to pick Recluse followed by Poets
Or maybe Dan Akroyd can pull some weight and have them perform 3 songs ala U2.
Then I would choose:
1. The Rock
2. NewOrleansWorld
3. Don't You Wanna See How It Ends

I thought you were serious lol. Goodlife is an excellent choice, and I'd throw in family band. (Love that song)

01 - The Lonely End Of The Rink
02 - Blow At High Dough
That could be right.

I must say I do like the Frozen and Cordelia suggestions by redhill. Very good indeed.

Changed my answer, for the newer song Thompson Girl's right, Love is a First is a power house of a tune. I couldn't help but think that it'll definitely end up being a concert staple while at the Goodlife ACC show.

I'm pretty sure the boys would stand behind their new material, so at least one song from WATS.
1 Love is a First
2 M@W
"we've only got three hundred feet to go ..."
