Fallen Hipster
#1

As we all know Peter aka Livehip was involved in an accident a few weeks back . Cry Peter offers up Hip dvd's for practically nothing and donates the extra money to Camp Trillium . I don't think it's right that Peter should have to offer up some of his collection to cover medical expenses. To quote Peter "the bad thing with the accident is that I will be liquidating my cds as well. not something I want to do, but something I've got to do. I will post a list really soon "

If everyone chipped in what they could , even if it's a little it could make a difference . Giving up an Ice Cap or movie rental or anything trivial , could help out , a small sacrifice . I would think having a severely burnt leg and weeks/months of rehab is enough to worry about let alone trying to get together cd packages in order to cover costs .

Peter I hope I didn't embarass you but I felt it was something that should be done . I hope you are having a speedy recovery .

hey folks

hope all is well... I REALLY appreciate all help, but I definitely would NOT feel right about anything like this... I do want to truly thank everyone for their support and kind words though... I saw a neurologist yesterday... I need to get a CAT-scan to see whether or not my back problems are related to the fact that I can't really feel much in my foot... it's more of a precaution than anything... the burn is SLOWLY healing but it's getting their.. I think in a month or so it'll be healed in terms of the burns (or at least I hope).. and then after that I've got to just re-learn how to walk.. I'm already having some physio sessions and they seem to be going alright but I still can't move my 4 smallest toes and the top of my foot is very numb.. my heel is also quite numb as well... I'm truly hoping that by the new year that things progress to the point I can at least walk somewhat normally and get back to work...

I will be getting rid of most of my hip shows. I think it's time. I will continue to transfer shows onto dvd in order to spread them out for the time being but in the next few weeks I will slowly liquidate my collection. I'll keep a few of my shows but most will be up for grabs.. I'll keep you posted!
