As most of you know a band called Attack in Black is opening for the Tragically Hip in North Bay, ON this summer. Is anyone else super impressed with their new album, Years (by one thousand fingertips)? It's is such an awesome, solid album, and I just picked it up for my birthday on a whim! In my opinion, they are one of the most prefect openers for The Hip. The sad part of all this is I live in Newfoundland and I'm workin all summer so I can't see this amazing show
But I am going to the St. John's show on July 2nd!

Let's discuss Attack in Black and the show in North Bay.

I'v been waiting for my tax return so I've got some cash in hand, and then I'm going right out to get this. I haven't heard anything off of it yet, but Marriage was my favourite album the year it was released. There's not a bad song on it. I saw them open for the Hip in Belleville last year and they were absolutely amazing! I'm still trying to figure out how to go about getting to this festival.

They've played here in Sudbury many times, but I haven't seen them. I will be at the North Bay show though, so I suppose I should give 'em a whirl sometime before August 1st.

These guys were on the bill at Calgary's Virgin Festival last summer, but they were over on the "B" stage and I didn't see them, as I was most likely preoccupied with whoever was on the main stage at the time. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll be sure to check this album out.

I'll reiterate, as I really wanna drive the point home, PICK UP 'MARRIAGE'. It is just awesome. I can't say enough good things about it. I can't yet speak for 'Years (By One Thousand Fingertips)'. :music
