Post Obstructed at Massey
#1

I had enough of reading about how great these shows were and detesting myself for not even attempting to get tickets to Massey this time around. So me and a friend bit the bullet and each got singles for the Thursday May 14 show at Massey even though the best seats (only seats?) available we "post obstructed".

Anyone sat behind the posts at Massey before? What do I have to look forward to (so to speak)?

A post directly in your view of half of the stage. I've done it before and it wasn't too bad but it definately didn't make for the best concert going experience. I've only ever sat up top at Massey (about 4-5 different shows) and I've always hated how terribly cramped it is, so that just made it a little bit worse. This time around I've got floors for two different nights and then another set of floors for Joel Plaskett the next week, I'm hoping they're a little bit roomier. But hey man, it's the hip, maybe this way Paul won't be able to see you and you can avoid any ass kickings!

I was post-obstructed on the floor for Arcade Fire a while back and it wasn't too bad, especially considering it was quite a bit cheaper than the rest of the seats in that section. The post blocked my view of half the stage but everyone was standing anyway so you could squeeze down the row a bit to minimize it...

What section(s) are the posts located?

I'm in Section LSF Row G Seat 4. I think my buddy is in Row N Seat 8 or 18.

I'm hoping the view isn't so bad as the seats were still full price. I'm going to be crowd-surfing the whole time anyway, so probably won't be a big deal.
