Any one know of the make and model of the Johnny's small drum kit pictured here?

I know its Ayotte.

Don't know the model exactly. But I've seen it around for a few years. There used to be a video on the website of the boys jamming in the trailer before the Salmon Fest 2005 show and he's using that kit. There are also other random pictures featuring that kit as Johnny's pre-show warm up kit.

It is interesting with it's tiny sized tom/snare/bass drum. I think smaller sets like this are sometimes called 'gig' sets.

I thought it kind of odd that for the live at the bathouse show, when they were playing in the loft he was using a Yamaha kit.

For the WC tour Johnny stopped using Ayotte and started using Yamaha.

He's been using Yamaha since the start of the WC tour. For the small club shows in the fall of 2006 he was using a modified version of his Ayotte kit, with new cymbals. After that he was using the Yahama kit with the purple sparkle and has since.

I think there is a quote of him somewhere saying he wasn't getting what he wanted anymore from Ayotte and Yamaha stepped up. Something like that.
