I was looking at buying it today but..... I like is Solo stuff, just Dave and his guitar. Not the full band stuff, unless its with the DMB.
I need 2 Kingston Tickets, please help.

it is fantasic.
don't buy it expecting to hear Dave singing DMB songs or even DMB-sounding songs. if you do, you will be sorely dissapointed.
the CD is amazing from start to finish.

Is a lot of the album like Gravedigger, or is that an unusual song for the album? I love DMB, but I don't really like Gravedigger that much. I was thinking about picking this up, but I really don't have money to buy things I'm not guaranteed to like!

5727,
Well, if you don't like Gravedigger I am not so sure that you would like the rest of the album. As Mark said, it does not have a DMB sound to it, it really is very different. It is a very mellow album. To me, Gravedigger is the best song on the cd, both lyrically and musically. I can't say whether you would like it or not :| Hopefully a friend will buy it and burn it for you, that way you're not out either way

there are 2 versions of gravedigger on the cd. one is acoustic and the other has the backup band playing.

Which are both amazing...I love how there are strings playing with the acoustic version..
Also, the song 'An Another Thing' really shows another side of Dave's lyrical abilities. I was in awe the first couple times I heard it. :thumb: It is nice to finally hear that song completed :thumb:
