Phil,
I'm gonna guess you caught McCartney on Colbert the other night
The Beatles kick I'm on right now is great, I'm enjoying every minute of it.
They are considered the best band of all time with great reason.
You Never Give Me Your Money --> Sun King --> Mean Mr. Mustard --> Polythene Pam --> She Came In Through The Bathroom Window --> Golden Slumber --> Carry That Weight --> End
That sequence has got to be one of the most brilliant sequences ever released.
Not to mention the Sgt. Pepper album....
She's Leaving Home - Within You Without You -Sgt. Pepper Reprise - A DAY IN THE LIFE.
And then there's Rubber Soul... Norwegian Wood, Nowhere Man, Drive My Car.... RUN FOR YOU LIFE.
White Album - Happiness Is A Warm Gun, Dear Prudence, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Revolution 1
I love Let It Be too, ... I Me Mine... Two Of Us... Get Back... For You Blue... Across The Universe.
And then Jeff Lynne is asked to complete an unfinished John Lennon song for Anthology 1, called 'Free As A Bird'...
Don't even get me started with the 'Love' compilation...
The Beatles are a constant source of entertainment.
