Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

Last week, we were laughing at Calgary... today alone we have between 5-10 cm of snow! More to come. Worse thing is, there is no one to blame! This sucks...right when University classes are ending too! :censored

Don't worry... I'll take the blame for this one.

Don't forget guys, you live in Canada. It snows a lot there. Science fact o' the day for you.
Currently experiencing our first 80+ day here. Of course when it's snowing there's very little worry of killer tornados and t-storms, so you've got that going for you!

i have no problem handling some snow, what gets to me is the ever increasing extremes of it all. there was a week and a half solid this winter where it was -40C at high sun. Then its +22 a few months later then a week after that we had 4 foot drifts everywhere and i couldn`t move my car for 2 days. my expertise in the global warming issue is not too deep but my gut tells me it is getting worse a whole lot faster than we know. could be in for a scary summer storm season

I hear you. I was just kidding around, but it came off as snarky. Hey, in the Northeast states we get spring fever pretty badly by March, I can only imagine how bad you guys get it up there. I think you're right about crazy/scary summer storms though. Our mid-west is getting pounded already!

Last week was absolutely gorgeous here Monday thru Friday, but turned cold & rainy on the weekend. On Sunday evening, the skies completely cleared just as the sun was going down.

:censored

And it's been gorgeous ever since...but wouldn't you freaking know it....it's supposed to turn stormy this evening and rain all damn weekend again

I have decided long ago not to talk about the weather here during the winter months, because usually people don't appreciate it. But when its July/August I whine a lot. I hate the extemes in our weather , I enjoy sunshine,, but day after day after day of no clouds, no rain, just blistering sun and average of 115 degrees (f) really sucks. I will be wishing I was in Canada all summer believe me. I was up there in February and loved the snow, nice change. I get to escape the heat a bit here and there this summer for some festivals in BC and Ontario in June, July and August yeah!.
