What's that? There aren't enough pointless polls in this forum? I couldn't agree more!!!

I've noticed a few songs come up in just about every thread recently. Songs that people say they just can't stand!!! I'm just doing this for my own curiosity and, ofcourse, to start yet another huge fight :thumb:

So pick your favorite tune out of the following...

[MattyM]

Silver Jet, easily, though Vaccination Star is a close second.

Can we conduct a write in campaign and get In View on the ballot?

I knew I would get some requests. Sadly, I can't edit the poll.

[screw_ball]

You all know.

[redhill]

I'm partial to Silver Jet

[longseason]

Ya — gotta go with 'Silver Jet'. Going to visit Cape Spear on my honeymoon this summer. Although, 'The Rules' deserves an honourable mention.

[EPenguin10]

CC with Rules a close second...

On the flipside, I nominate In View as the song I can't stand...

[tigerthelion]

The Rules, hands down.

And I'll be hitting up Clayoquot Sound. I'll get over there one of these years, though!

Got to say I am a little surprised so far with the results. Not that The Rules is not a good song but cratch:

*coughs*

I kinda thought it would be The Rules and Silver Jet at the top. I was hoping Vaccination Scar would be a little higher but I understand that I'm one of the few that really dig that tune.

This did help prove one thing to me - as much as some people dislike these songs (+ In View. I really should have included that), they're still better than Evelyn.

Evelyn: The little scratch on the roof of your mouth that would heel if only you could stop tougning it... but you can't.

[The Darkest Canuck]

i don't understand why so many people dislike Coconut Cream...

Ditto. How anyone can listen to the live version from the Canada day show in 2004 and say it's not an amazing song, I have no idea!

VS is great as well. It certainly doesn't deserve the bad press it gets, IMO.
