Pearl Jam announce 10 date east coast tour
#1

From pearljam.com:

A Ten Club pre-sale for eligible members will begin on Monday, March 24th at 9am PDT. You must be an active member of the Ten Club by Wednesday, March 19, 2008 to qualify for the pre-sale ticket opportunity. We will stagger
ticket sales to control web traffic, so please pay attention to the
corresponding pre-sale dates and times. Pre-sale tickets are first come
first serve, while supplies last. Pre-sales for any available tickets will
remain open until Friday, March 28th at 5pm PDT.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale through Ticketmaster.com and
all Ticketmaster outlets. Public on-sale information will be posted on
pearljam.com in the near future.

Ten Club tickets will be available online only at www.tenclub.net/goods with
a Visa or Mastercard as the only acceptable form of payment. No phone, mail or email orders. Two tickets per show/per member will be allowed. No single tickets are sold through the Ten Club. The base ticket price will vary per show, plus additional venue and handling fees.

Tickets will be allocated by seniority within the Ten Club, meaning the
longer you have been an active member, the closer your seats will be to the
stage. However, for this tour, we are implementing a slight change - rows
1-2 and rows 9-10 will now be RANDOM distribution. This means regardless of your member number you will have a chance of occupying seats within those random rows. We thank all of our diligent, loyal fans for accepting this
change gracefully. Please share the love.

Everything else is the same - Tickets will be distributed on the day of the
show at the box office of the venue at Will Call. The fan club member, not the cardholder, must be present to collect the tickets. No exceptions. All sales are final. NO refunds. NO exchanges. NO transfers. Reselling of Ten Club tickets will result in revocation of all future ticket privileges and
suspension of your Ten Club membership.

Click here http://tenclub.net/tenclub/tickets.php for information on the
official rules, policies, and procedures for purchasing tickets from the Ten
Club. We highly recommend that you read these details before purchasing
tickets to a show so you are aware of how the ticketing system will work for
you!

The opening act for dates June 11-17 will be Kings of Leon. Opening act for
dates June 19-30 will be Ted Leo and The Pharmacists.

All dates and times are subject to change.

haha although i know it won't happen, that's exactly what i thought of when i seen the tour ends on June 30th in MA kleh!

Hey you never know i guess, they were one of the 2 acts (John Fogerty being the other) that i requested this year, and one of the bands i requested each of the last 2 years has came (The Tragically Hip in '06, Buckcherry in '07) Smile

Starting April 2nd Eddie Vedder is doing a solo Tour here on the West Coast.

He has Liam Finn (Crowded House fame) from New Zealand opening for him throughout the West Coast cities.

Tour ends in San Diego on April 16th.

This is a must see for me, love them both.

Struck out on both MSG pre-sales. Damn.

I wish I had half the luck I did with last year's Hip pre-sales.

Now I have to play the Ticketmonster game.

Anyone have better luck?

Snagged tickets to both MSG gigs on Ticketbastard...Anyone else going? Would a Hipbase pre-party before a PJ gig be kosher?

I hate all of you going to Madison Square Garden, or any other shows on this tour for that matter. Also, sometimes, I hate the fact I moved to Western Canada. Not all the time. Just sometimes. Wink

(Seriously, enjoy everyone! I need a Pearl Jam fix, BADLY; it's been, what, eight months? That's unacceptable.)

One of my favourite bands. I need a fix too. It's been 19 years for me. Sad

last time for me was 4/7/1994 ( a important day in rock n roll )

I've only seen them twice: way back in 1993 at the Max Bell Centre in Calgary, and again in 2005 at the Saddledome. I was rather inebriated at the '93 show and don't remember much about it, but the '05 gig was one of the single greatest rock shows I've ever witnessed. Amazing band. The east coast tour is too far away for me, so hopefully they'll put together a western jaunt in the near future.

I was fortunate enough to see the London show, it was great. If they ever swing by this way again Ill be there. Not sure why it took me so many years to finally check them out, but Im glad I did it was worth the wait..now if I can just get STP crossed off my list.

Hip Base preparty sounds great. Any out-of-towners looking for good meet-up places, feel free to discuss. The farther away you get from the Garden, the better your choices are. Can't wait!
