I know that there are some Coldplay fans here, and I'm also just going to assume Opiated hates them...

Regardless,
their new album is slated for a June release, and I bet it will be great. There hasn't been a Coldplay album yet I haven't enjoyed. (Still, nothing compares to Parachutes for me, and I doubt this new one will... but I'm willing to bet it will kick ass).

Also, does anybody know what ever happened to the DVD they were supposedly filming at the Air Canada Centre?

Apparently they scrapped the DVD plans and made it into a TV special instead. It aired here on HDNet a few months back.

Yeah that was a big disappointment. I was at the first show at the ACC. It was great.

It's on HD Net fairly regularly... and their show at the Guvernment was also recorded in HD but I've only seen it on the HD preview channel.
