Line-ups are announced. No Hip so far.
Flaming Lips - Geo. Clinton etc.
Thinking there's no room for a little band from Kingston.
Despite the reviews, the people I talked to (I live in Fargo) said they were blown away by the band. Some even were freaked that a REAL rock band showed up (and promptly won over the hippies - note lower case h.)

So, if the band is going to play the region either get back into Minneapolis or - maybe a daring move - come to Fargo. Why not - we're not far from the 'Peg, and we have a decent Civic Center or perhaps the Fargodome (which has less sonic quality than the old Winnipeg arena *ugh*)

I was at the show and the one who posted the some what negative review... 10k was an amazing festival last year, and even though the hip are my favorite band, they didnt really fit in. They played an unusually short setlist that night and a by no means put on one of there best performances.. Although, as usual, Rob was incredible... But that was expected... and even though it wasnt one of there best and still as always really had a great time...

Nevertheless, 10k is a great scene, an unbelievable experience, and the best festival ive ever been to. I recommend it to everyone, and even though the hip wont be there, you should still go...
