Gord has a small part in another Michael McGowan movie (St. Ralph)
This movie is called One Week stars Joshua Jackson (Dawson's Creek) as a cancer patient who embarks on a motorcycle trip from Toronto to British Columbia.
Gord plays a biker in this movie scheduled for a 2008 release.
The movie is being scored by Andrew Lockington who also scored St Ralph.
I wonder, with the same director and musical director as St Ralph where Gord contributed Hallelujah if we will get any more Gord solo for this movie.

One Week is Screening at the Toronto International Film Festival on Monday Sept. 8, 9:30pm at Roy Thompson Hall.
Individual tickets are available starting Saturday.

Gord is starting to carve out quite an acting career for himself.
He is also appearing in Nothing Really Matters a film by Jean-Marc Piché premiering tomorrow Saturday August, 22 at the Montreal Film Festival.
"and a burglar (Gord Downie of Tragically Hip fame, who turns out to be quite the acting find)"

First I've heard of this movie. Setting sounds rather appealing. I'd like to check it out. And Gord's part sounds suiting.

I had a feeling that a few familiar faces would be attending the gala. My wife and I are also going.
I've seen some previews and the movie looks good.
