Research is showing that people with more than 800 Facebook friends are seen as insecure. I guess having 4,999 friends makes one really, really insecure! Facebook doesn’t let you have more than 4,999 friends.

Haha. "0" usually means you have a pseudo account that nobody knows about that you use to stock people.

Ages 12-15: More than 800 friends = insecure
Ages 15-17: More than 500 friends = insecure
Ages 18-21: More than 200 friends = insecure
Ages 22-25: More than 100 friends = insecure
Ages 25-27: More than 50 friends = insecure
Ages 28+: Active facebook account = insecure

completely with you on this one man, I have no desire to EVER be on facebook...

anyone who needs to contact me can already do so by calling me, or MSN, or meeting me in person...

yes 4000 posts spread over 4 years mind you, and this is the only website ive ever posted on in that time frame. so it really amounts to very little.

I'm glad that my friend/age ratio falls into your specific parameters of self-assuredness.

Though, I have some acquaintances (I certainly can't consider them friends) from college who assume you don't exist since you don't have a facebook profile.

I'll admit I'm a Facebook-aholic. It's just become part of my daily routine now along with checking my email and checking out this place. I get a real kick out of looking at pictures of how bald and fat some of the jackasses and "Cee U Next Tuesday'S" from high school have become. I also take particular enjoyment seeing those same people toiling in obscurity working at the same no-where job they did during summer break.
