Depends where you live. Ottawa might just be the pizza capital of Canada. There are literally dozens of fantastic pizza places in the city.

I really haven't explored the market enough, but there are some pretty good pizza places around.

There's also an indian restaurant called the Nagina. we eat there based on the name alone, and it's good. Irrelevant to the thread, but i've wanted to tell people about it

Ottawa might be the Pizza capital of the world but I would say that 97% of them are owned by guys that aren't Italian so bare that in mind, for the most part, you're getting generic crappy pie.

There's a Pizza Pizza on just about every street corner and it doesn't matter what city you are in, PP sucks hard!!! Milano's and Gabriel's aren't bad. But if you are looking for that true Italian tastiness you'll have to head to Little Italy.

But, seeing as I know that you are from Sudbury, Ottawa is blessed to have 5 or 6 Mr. Topper's locations, still your best bet.

Made by italians or not, that's gross.

I think I've had frozen cook-it-yourself pizza better than Toppers.

Either that, or I really have no taste in pizza.

very well may be...although Toppers isn't really the best by any stretch of the imagination, i find it hit or miss, sometimes it's awesome, sometimes it's almost a waste of money...Sudbury doesn't have much good pizza at all...

Without being "The Homer" and suggesting Toppers I'd have to say that Georgie's Pizza is quite good...well, any pizza with gravy on it is a lovely little treat.

There is this place on Altavista and Bank called The Bella Vista. It's just an italian place, but they make the BEST pizza. I live in Orleans, and we make it down there at least once a month. The newest guy they hired just got to Canada from Italy! They do deliver, but I don't know to where... certainly not to East Ottawa.

I just remembered...The Newport on Richmond!!. Its just a little corner greasy spoon, the pizza there is pretty good......but best of all.....it is the headquarters for the "Elvis Sighting Society"!!! Kind of an entertaining place...........
