Hi Folks,

So, if my wife finds out that I lost the $50 Hip track jacket she bought for me at the show at the Harro East Ballroom show last year, she will have my head.

I'm in a frantic search for a new one before she finds out. The track jacket is zip-up style, black with white stripes and a Tragically Hip/ World Container patch over the left breast. It's a soft cotton/ fleece-like material. It was selling for $50 at the show, but I would pay more than that if need be to get another. I need a Women's XL or Men's M.

They are fucking horrible. Some of the weakest stitching I have ever seen on any clothing. I was able to rip through a lot of the stitching with no effort at all. I'm glad I didn't buy it, though my friend who did was pissed when he realized what horrible quality it was.

I believe you. I think the quality of Hip swag has been declining. The shirt I got in 2004 is good quality but the stuff I saw a few months ago didn't look like high quality stuff at all.

The tour t-shirt I bought last year is really thin, but on the other hand extremely comfortable. I think it's starting to fade already, though, but it had a pretty faded look in the first place.

I bought the green world container one. It sucks.. so thin.. shrunk to a size small! All for the reasonable price of $35! I wish the hip wouldent rip off the fans like that! Really all concert merch is usually the same. Just learn not to buy any of it. Save your money for more $10 beer at the venues...... You will be far more happy!

I dunno, man, some bands have some really durable stuff. I bought Sunn O))) and Joanna Newsom shirts recently and they are both excellently made.

Edit: As far as the beer goes... F.uck selling beer at shows. Just get drunk before the show like all the kids do.
