How much are tickets and where can you buy them? This poses an interesting idea considering I'll be there for the Marquee....

I would say it's probably a 3hr drive? Maybe Lance can confirm that!

3.5 hour drive doing the speed limit, you could make it in under 3 no problem speeding from Halifax, $3.50 toll both ways and $43.50 or something like that to get off the island.
I need 2 Kingston Tickets, please help.

I drove to PEI week and half ago. It's about 3 hours to Charlottetown from Halifax given no traffic/delays.
Toll hwy $3.50 each way
Bridge to PEI is $38.50
Im up for a car pool to PEI if anyone else wants to go and can get me a ticket (I will pay for it of course). I can fit 4 very comfy in my car.

First of all...how much are tickets and where can we get them?
Carpool sounds good to me. Certainly saving cash would be good and we can split the cost of the toll bridge etc.

I called UPEI.
Information found out:
Tickets go on sale Sept 1st (yes it's Labour Day). "Around $25". Call the UPEI Student Union when they go on sale at (902)566-0530. Girl I spoke to seemed sure that VISA or MC could be used to purchase tickets over the phone.

I was really excited when i heard Gord was playing Halifax. I have friends there and I thought I'd make a weekend out of it. But because of the lack of car, the trip would be long and pricey. I figured...who cares...it's Gord Downie!
Then This! I could have stayed here in town. Oh well. This is the second time I've missed Gord in Charlottetown. The last time was the Live Between Us tour in '99.
Hmmmmm....would it be worth heading back on Saturday to catch the show.....

There's been a change of plans. I can't make it to the Halifax show (too much deniro), so I'll be seeing the show here! Can't wait 'til Saturday night!
