I would say 427 south to the Gardiner Expressway (East) but NOT during rush hour.
Sorry forgot to add that the signs will direct you to Skydome from the Gardiner.

How much do you think a cab would be? Is it possible to take the subway maybe?

You can take an air limo from the airport to just about anywhere in Toronto for about $50 or check out the shuttle buses which usually run from the airport to downtown hotels for about $15 a person and their luggage.

That sounds like your best bet. I would not take a cab, thats for sure. Check out http://www.city.toronto.on.ca/ttc/servi ... irport.htm maybe...but to the best of my knowledge there is no subway from the airport to Union Station. (Where you'd wanna go)

The best way is to have a friend, or Hipbase member like me, pick you up. I work across the street from the terminals, and live 5 minutes from SkyDome.

Aside from that, the airport shuttle bus, NOT TTC, is your best bet. $12 - $15 per person, it runs every twenty minutes, and drops off at a number of downtown destinations/major hotels. (And they have return tickets available.)

The subway is not an option.

The airport limos are a nice option, but they are a flat rate, and they are more expensive than regular cabs; however, regular cabs are not allowed to pick-up passengers within the airport boudaries. Some weird airport rules - ie the airport gets a kickback from the airport limos!

Thanks for the offer but we arrive in TO at 8:30 in the moring :? . The shuttle sounds like our best bet because we are staying at the Sheraton at the airport. Total opposite for you Smile

Curious Lance, you're only in Toronto for one night, correct? What do you have planned? If I could recommend my favourite spot for dinner, Movenpick Marche...it's in the BCE plaza with the Hockey Hall of Fame...not sure what your plans are, just thought I'd pass along that recommendation....
