TTH NYE 2007/2008 ?
#1

This is for all fans who have seen the TTH for NYE !!!

What a time those shows were...I wish I had got to Chicago last year...but the goods news is I've done a couple already...Hamilton, ACC.

So I'm wondering where the band is playing this year.

My guess is they've got the ACC booked for a couple of nights but are just waiting till next Sunday(Nov 4th) to release the info...perhaps I'm wrong...but IMHO this is their biggest cd in awhile and it would be a smart way to close out the tour...with a BIG BANG! lol

Finally I wanted to give kudos to all bands that perform on NYE...I have seen some incredible balloon drops over the years Smile

Remember that NYE ACC show when Gordo insisted on hunting down every balloon on stage and popping it...a mad man posessed!! lol

I think I saw the new years day show....where Gordie danced like Celine...and also gave birth to a beautiful baby balloon

If they do a NYE or NYD show I'm there, that's all there is to it Smile

This would be amazing - though they may want a continued rest after the incredibly long tour they just finished. I'll be in the area if they do Toronto for New Years - I would certainly be there!! I'll be in Peterborough - ohhh! Peterborough for New Years!!

The Leafs play Tampa at the ACC on the first so there would be no NYD show...looks like the ACC is still open on the 31st though...

Bring NYE to Buffalo!!! With the Ice Bowl (outdoor hockey game) between the Pens and Sabres the next day, it would be the best NYE ever!!!!!

After almost a year of constant touring, I'm willing to bet the Hip will spend New Year's Eve with their families and friends.

For what it's worth, they announced last year's show in Chicago around Nov. 15. And if there is one this year, it *won't* be back at the House of Blues in Chicago, where Collective Soul will be trying to fill the Hip's $145 shoes.

They have been all around Canada some places twice around Europe
and US. I think the Holidays will be with family this year!

I'm still hopin...

World Container was such an incredible cd/tour !!!

It would nice to send it out the right way...with one of those BIG EPIC show(s) that we all know they are capable of delivering. I have really enjoyed the fact that they are doing some wild cover tunes and mixing it way way up, as always...it's been another incredible journey, to say the least.

Did anyone tell them how much money could be made for 2 shows in TO to close the tour...ha ha...I'm sure they know Wink

In the meantime, look for the wide eyed, grinning kid, in Rochester Wink

John Labatt Centre's booked for a Knights game (just figured I'd mention it given how awesome the two shows they've done there have been- plus it's not too far from home for them). I'm hoping for the ACC, although Copps would be welcome (and closer to me).

You're not the betting type, are you Wink

See Rochester show reviews...

World Container is TTH's biggest&best cd in 10 years, imho.
It would be a mistake not to want to celebate that with 18,000 fans, over 2 nights, to close the year/tour.
