That is my understanding also (on news this morning). Someone told me it was all about Canada not supporting the US in the war :| .

Although I don't think it's JUST about Canada not supporting Bush's useless war, I wouldn't be surprised. It's often like a couple of kids running a global economy. "Fine, you don't want to play on my team? Well we don't want your beef!!" :x Sorry folks, that sort of thing angers me....but lets face it, there is no better beef than Canadian beef...maybe it's their loss....and as Gord said at Lee's Palace this year...."Somewhere deep down in the hearts of Torontonians you're thinking "Well fuck you then! Don't Come!" Obviously he wasn't talking about beef, but you get the picture.

They wouldn't even allow my friend to bring cans of Chef Boyardee Beefaroni and Ravioli into the US when crossing the border...

:thumb: way to keep the mad cow away :thumb: EVEN though there is much talk that the infected cow was American.... heh

The irritation never stops

I had a can of the new Spaghetti and mini-meatballs the other day ( i bought it cos I fell for the label thinking I could win something), and halfway through the bowl I just sat there staring at the teeny meatballs for a minute. They were ALL shaped exactly the same, and they had a gritty taste as if made of more ground bone than meat. I decided to eat around the remaining ones and then I put them out back for the raccoons.

Heron - you may wanna just get the Spaghetti without the so-called MEAT-balls

Sabina-Unfortunately I've learned that you should never throw away food...and being a student, well it rings very true. You'll probably find me eating those meatballs next year, like it or not. Cry :thumb:
