The show should be called The Bionic Canadian. I love Canada. Some days I even wish I were Canadian. But I drives me nuts when brain dead executives farm out film projects to Canada to save money then say it's Seattle. Why don't directors ever say "Great, but lets try that without the Canadian accent." And for God's sake will somebody show the Canadian Grip/Lighting crews how to properly light a set!

on top of that the bionic woman is actually english..she's on the soap (or was on) the soap series Eastenders

I don't find the acting to be the problem. The camera work on Canadian productions is always top notch. The "mise en scene" and set design are great. The writing is second to none. I really blame the directors and Gaffers. The only Canadian productions that don't suffer from this phenomena are The Trailer Park Boys and Chilly Beach.

It certainly looks good.
Not bad, going from a dark depressing soap to something that actually looks quite good.
