Just really wanted to share with you guys my new tattoo. In honour of just attending my 5th Hip show, I wanted to dedicate a permanent part of myself to them. I got it last night. :mrgreen: Whaddya think??!

That's awesome.
I've been looking for years for some sort of symbol/logo/pic to get tattoed to represent the Hip, and I've found nothing.
I've never thought of a lyric before...

That is a cool tattoo. Usually I'm not a huge fan of spur-of-the-moment tattoos like that, but this one is just too cool for me to hate.

Thanks for yer comments guys!!! It kind of was spur of the moment. My friend and I were walking out of Wednesday's show and I was talking about how genius some of the lyrics are. Then I had a 'moment' where I declared my eternal love for this band and told her I was going to get the 'shade shy' lyric and got all excited. (She came with me and got an Our Lady Peace lyric!!!!).
So yeah, I really love my new tattoo (unlike my husband :lol.
Some other ones I considered for half a second were: 'everything was irridescent for a while', 'maybe love is the only virtue there is', 'this music speaks to me', 'you're gonna miss me, wait and you'll see', 'maybe love is the new maybe' and 'we'll live to survive our paradoxes'.
I didn't want to just get a symbol because there is nothing I really love apart from the maple leaf. I am not canadian so I didn't feel right about getting the leaf for some reason.
Hmmmmmm Zenith I am always getting told I look familiar haha!! I have only been to London once but that was five years ago so maybe I just have a double out there or something :wink:

My friend got 'Ordinary's just not good enough today' tattoed across her upper back from the song 'Superman's Dead'. I LOVE Our Lady Peace too. Canada has the best musicians in the world without a doubt. :thumb:

I just ran across a picture of my friend when she was pregnant last year.
Nice Hip tattoo on her prego belly - and she named the kid Gordon Edgar (now that is dedication)
