I would have to agree with you. The Office is by far my favourite show. I have seen every episode at least 3 or 4 times.

The webisodes were great while waiting for the new season to start, lets hope they release even more this summer.

Best show on TV, and great news that they will be shooting 30 episodes next season.

Well the Office returned last night.. pretty good episode, but definitely not one of the better ones. I think the show has moved away from what originally made it funny, and has become more of a serious show with too many relationship story lines. I'd rather see Jim play pranks on Dwight than see Dwight cry over Angela.

Interesting. I couldn't disagree with you more. I thought last night's episode was the best in quite some time and it had me laughing from beginning to end.

Strictly carnal. That's all you need to know.

I am a huge office fan, and have seen every episode a million times, but I have been really disapointed with the 4th season. Lately, it seems like they are getting way too over the top. Some points are still quite funny, and yes, i still love it and laugh out loud. But nothing will ever compare to season 2, i think one of the best tv seasons of all time.

For example - dwight forcing ryan into a coffin last season
or micheal following the direction of his GPS and driving into a lake

what happened to the Micheal that was maturing and teaching Jim the lessons he's learned and taught Jim, (when Jim tried to change the birthday party policy)

Anyone else hear about the Office Spin Off debuting next year, it will be quite interesting to see what evolves from that, and hot it affects the original (US version that is)

"THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!"

That episode hit a little too close to home for me. I may have thrown dinner parties that were that awkward in the past. No cops though at least. Nor was my Dundie broken.

If true comedy is something so awkward that you can't help but look away, than that was sheer comic genius.

Also, 30 Rock on Thursday was gold. That show gets better with every episode.

Cheers,

Pat

I completely agree. As a matter of fact, I said the same thing to Jenna after this last episode.

Imo, The Office is falling into the same trap that Curb Your Enthusiasm quickly fell into, albeit at a slower rate. These comedies that rely on the 'awkwardness' factor are funny while the ideas are fresh, but once the cleverness begins to get exhausted over a couple seasons-worth of episodes, the writers start reaching to maintain the overall concept of the humor.....and going "over the top" is the result.

I agree, but I do think the 'fun run for the cure' episode at the start of the 4th season was the funniest episode of the entire series, and it was completely over the top..

Last nights episode was great!!

Seemed to go back to the old style of Season 2 greatness. And the Jim and Pam scenes, although about a new topic (marriage) was the old playful teasing and flirting they used to always do.

Great Episode!!

Wendy, a hot and juicy red head!!

Last nights episode was great!

I thought Kevin was going to cry during the meeting of the Five Families.

My wife was almost in tears when Jim dropped to his knee at the end of the show - thinking he was going to propose. And then she was mad because I was laughing more at her reaction than the show!
