The music from The Right Whale vignettes
#1

Is it physically possible to get just the music off those Hip-scored Christopher Mills-filmed video vignettes on the bonus features disc of Hipeponymous? Or the music AND video, is probably more likely. I don't know much 'bout computers. Thanks very much, anyone who answers.

With the right software it is possible.

I use Handbrake, MacTheRipper, MPEG Streamclip and Visual Hub. These are all Mac programs.

There are more than a few Windows users who can probably explain how to do it on that OS.

On the PC, I use a program called "A1 DVD Audio Ripper" to extract the audio from dvds.

When it comes to video, I'm with Chris and only use the Mac.

I use a program that is strictly a DVD Audio Ripper. It's on my other comp, so I don't know the exact name...
But I do think you have to pay for it.

I've always thought that some of those songs sounded Radiohead-esque, therefore kickass.

Which ones do you think are Radiohead esque? Im not sure if i agree, i listen to The Right Whale on a once a day basis, and radiohead is in the usual mix aswell, both are great but i dont think in anyway similar.

I did not want to make a new topic - so I chose this one.

I saw this comic in last Sunday's comic section
The question was from someone from Buffalo - I wonder if he wrote this in because of The Hip? Never know.
