I can not breathe right now. I feel so sick to my stomach.
Tickets are going to be very very very hard to get. The venue is incredibly small. I will not be able to sleep until Friday. This is so unreal.

OMFG
This is my favortie venue of all time.
I used to work in Port Carling (20 Minutes from Bala) & have seen a ton of bands there:
Our Lady Peace, Matthew Good, 54-40, Sam Roberts, Blue Rodeo, The New Deal, Spirit of the West, David Wilcox, Kim Mitchell, Big Sugar, Sloan, Road Apples (Hip Cover) & Dogs of War (Floyd Cover). - Some of which I have seen every summer (54-40)
I am so pissed right now, I am coming to Muskoka on June 8th for the weekend but heading back to BC so I don't think I can make this show. Funny thing was when I met Gord Downie outside of the Victoria Royal Theatre show I asked him if the hip would ever play the kee and he said that he developed Muskokism. Which was not wanted to play for rich golf club members or something like that.
IF the Hip Fans are looking for a great place to stay, may I suggest THE LOFTY PINES motel in Bracebridge!! It's 30 minutes so too far. But seriously get your place now as Muskoka is insane expensive. The cheapest lodgin in Bala would be at the Bala Bay Inn (used to work there too).
Also one of my Best Friends runs the s'kool bus up there which drive people from resorts to Bala - I could go on and on about this show. IF anyone has any questions, post them & I will be able to answer them! - Seriously I am a Muskoka expert. If I make it back I have places for Hipbasers to Crash!!

I was supposed to go to Muskoka to take the Challenges Unlimited course at the 'Sports Resort' there.
Can't make the course... or the shows.

under 1,000..maybe 750. I'd say something a little bigger than Lee's Palace.

Okay, thanks. I was worried it was about 400 or 500. At 750 - 1,000 there's a fighting chance of actually getting tickets.

For those of us also going to Art Park, this week is going to be just like the four nights at the Phoenix all over again! A very unproductive week at work! Not that I'm complaining! :thumb:

Too bad it's right smack dab in the middle of the week! Would have been cool to spend the weekend up there enjoying the hip AND the sun!

I'm going to try and go to the Thursday show. If someone would like to carpool in the GTA with me on Thursday, let me know. I'll drive and we can split gas. I'll work together with someone to try and get tickets on Friday.
