Another T.O> Area Show?!?!?
#1

My buddy told me last night that he heard on the radio that the boys are going to be announcing another Toronto area/Southern Ontario show for this summer.

I was pretty skeptical because this friend isn't totally reliable, but I just wanted to ask here if anyone knew anything...

Thanks.

Well, to my knowledge they havent announced any Ontario dates as of yet.
However I'd almost be willing to bet my first born, that the hip will play one(or more) Southern Onatario show(s) sometime between June-August.

If they do it will most likely coincide with some type of annual summer festival, show or what have you..anybody know of anything big happening around here this summer that they'd be free to play??

If they aren't busy they should come play Rib-Fest in London this August. I'd definitely go then.. Big Grin

Please NOT THE AMPHITHEATRE!!!! Lets have a great outdoors day long festival situation. Not Molson Park either. Somewhere that we can all camp and party for a weekend would be nice.

I agree, another beach bash like Wasaga would be cool. :thumb:

I would prefer a show somewhere like the Amphitheatre... not a big fan of festivals personally.

nhaste the Amphitheater is so clean and plain. I have found its not really a place to truly enjoy a good atmosphere for a concert. I like the Fort York / Fairgrounds type setting where you can walk around buy some stuff , kick up some dirt, watch from afar, get up close, lay down in the grass watch the sky, all that feels so good compared to sitting in your plastic seat with a roof over your head and not being allowed to roam freely.

If you got pics for sure share em, in the hip discussion forum or in the show reviews threads, just find the show you were at and post em. Either way is good, we all love Hip pics here!

Here's the link to the FY show review thread for ya: http://www.hipbase.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8918

And yes FY was an amazing show, one of my best shows ever. :thumb:

If you're looking for a multi-cam fan-made dvd of the 2nd night at Ft. York, you can find it here:
