Lake Fever
#1

Hi guys,
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the meaning of the song Lake Fever. What do they mean by ceasing investigations? Who is investigating what? If you could just tell me what the song is about (i have an idea that its about 2 lovers at a lake in algonquin park) but any deeper meaning would be much appreciated!
You can email me with any answers (christineluksis@hotmail.com) or just post them here.
Thanks!

Of note, Gord has mentioned before playing the song "First sex, then the story, right?" or that it's a song about a cholera (sp?) epidemic...I get the impression too that it's a song about lovers by the lake, and it's their last night together for some reason, and possibly confused about whether to spend their last night together making love physically or mentally...can we skip to the coatial fury? As one Henhouser once said, a tad risque...nevertheless, great song, Gord has also mentioned once that it was his favourite song to play live...don't know how much that helps...

It's About A Claw :rambo: :rambo: :rambo: :rambo:

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

"Here's a song about an exchange... Between two people... It's called Lake fever, and I think we've all got it, and It's just very pleasing and comforting to know that in the affairs of the heart we're all fifteen forever"
