Just sent SRB a box of Hip vhs that hasn't seen the light of day in almost ten years. Here's hoping some rare gems start to make the rounds this spring...

I've received about 3 or 4 batches of vhs tapes over the past couple of years to convert to dvd (Chris, I still have a couple of remaining tapes from you to convert over & get on the tracker....coming soon!)

If anyone has some tapes sitting around of shows that they haven't seen posted on the tracker before, or that are alternate angles to what has been torrented, I'm always more than happy to help convert the shows to dvd. In return, I always offer the sender a dvd copy of each show, and if they want the vhs tapes back, I can send them along with the digitized dvds.

Funny though that nobody ever wants the tapes back, meaning I have about 2 boxes of vhs tapes, and counting

You can pm me a list of which shows on tape you have, and I can let you know if I have it already, or if it's something less circulated.

Let's get these shows out! :thumb:

the hamilton show has a small cut during Nautical Disaster. the philly show is just awesome... they were opening for page and plant.

the saint john show is missing Poets (the first song) and the moncton show is noted as 'having heads in the way'. i honestly haven't watched these tapes in years, so i am fuzzy on the details. the '97 TO show was circulated fairly heavily considering we were still doing things by mail at the time... but holy shit is that show ever awesome

the '92, '93 and '95 shows are probably already out there quite a bit. but it has been a while since i have seen any mention of them.

the saint john and moncton shows are probably the rarest. i might just have to go watch the '97 TO show again. that blows me away everytime i see it.

Well since we are showing our videos - below are mine.
I just do not feel comfortable parting with these to send to SRB (Sorry, I trust you, but...)
But if anyone is interested in anything listed here - let me know. (different angles, show you were at, etc...)
I can throw anything onto DVD - no fancy menus or anything, just a direct digital copy of the show.

It's easy for me to re-author DVDs to add menus, mix them with alternate angles or audio sources... so if there are shows in your list Dana (or anyone else) that you want re-worked, etc, let me know.

That's completely understandable. I've had a few people contact me with tapes they wanted to convert, then not send me anything, and I think that's the underlying reason. I'd like to think it's more of a trust issue with the postal service.


That's a great list, and I'm sure there are a number of shows that haven't seen the tracker yet.

I'll dig out my list of vhs tapes this evening and compare lists. :thumb:
