I was told that it was just Saturday and Sunday - but it was just brought up in conversation - I am not sure how reliable it was - but the 28 and 29th were the dates I was told also during the first Towne Ballroom show last month.

Last year when they played Artpark I was in my buddies wedding. I was so pissed it wasn't even funny. If this happens count me in for every show they do. I can't wait for confirmation.

This show coming up in June/July saved me. I have tickets for NASCAR in NH on July 1st but I live in Halifax NS. Since I heard rumours there might be a hip show here around those dates I was so worried there would have been a bit of a conflict of interest there. One resulting in me going insane.
Now I don't have to worry about it.
Actually, maybe now I can attempt to see both.
Had to get that out. Thanks for reading.

It seems like new shows are being announced every week…how sweet is that? Sadly, while supporting IBE they tore across the US and Canada and played less than 60 shows. If they don’t announce another concert in 2007 they will have still played 100+ shows over the past 12 months.
Since they are going to Lewiston, NY which is close to where the US Tour began I will humbly suggest a few cities that have been neglected thus far…
• New Orleans, LA
• Phoenix, AZ
• San Diego, CA
Johnny Fay mentioned they spent the night in NO and spent money on hotels and dinner for the crew, but they didn’t play a show!!!
San Diego and Phoenix have supported The Hip faithfully going back to 1998. It’s a shame their only exposure to The Hip might be the 35 minutes when they opened for The Who and played 7 songs. Three years is a long time to wait between concerts, especially when you only get 7 songs!!!
Other suggestions…
• El Paso, TX
• Albuquerque, NM
• Tucson, AZ

Does anyone know what reserved seating means for these shows? Does it mean that there are chairs (i.e. assigned seats) in that section?

Since it seems no one here seemed to notice - or mention it.
Artpark tickets went on sale this morning at ten.
Go to TheHip.com and click the presale link.
I wish we had more notice than this.
