Just picked up her latest album after hearing it blast in Future Shop yesterday...I went in to buy the new Joss Stone(which i did as well..i guess i was in the mood for soulful english gals)...

Amy Winehouse is incredible..such a classic soul/jazz voice..almost billy holiday-ish in its sound...she can get a little raunchy, but it's open, honest, stunning music...i'm blown away by her voice...

I hear she's a bit of a train-wreck though, so not sure how long her career will be...Tiger..you'd LOVE her!!!

PS..haven't even listened to Joss yet

She is apparently a booze and coke hound, and she also swears like a docker with tourettes.

And also some of the worst tattoos I have seen in a long time.

But you are right, amazing voice and excellent album.

She's bloody awful live though... every time I've seen her perform on TV over here she has been off her head to the point of incoherant gibberish spouting from her lips in lieu of lyrics.
