Chris Cornell has left the band. I guess he has a solo project in the works. On the radio this morning they played a live acoustic version of Cornell singing Billie Jean. It sounded pretty sweet actually, and is supposed to be on his new record.

Maybe this means a Rage get back together is more likely now. Or who knows maybe they'll bring in a new lead singer, maybe like the lead singer of Rage, but keep the name Audioslave!! hmmm? interesting :lol:

Probably for the best. Audioslave was never that good to begin with. It's funny, I was listening to their newest cd just yesterday. After two songs, it just became very boring to me. Tom Morello repeates himself too much IMO. This band just seems like they have done everything they can do. There's a reason why most supergroups don't last.

Rage Against The Machine are somewhat back together, they're playing at Coachella this year...


so, let's all cross our fingers, hope that show goes really well, and gets them back together, AT LEAST, for another world tour...seeing as fans never really got a proper send off, it would be a nice surprise.

I'd love to see a Soundgarden reunion as much as anyone...but Chris lives in the south of France sipping...I think his career will take a much mellower approach
