Paul Langlois - Dec. 7th - 'Fix This Head'
#46

Haven't visited in a long time. Heard that tune on Hockey Night and thought "this sounds familiar" - sounds really old school. I said to myself "who is this? I should know it, but I can't place it." Then I heard Ron say thanks to Paul Langlois, and it all made sense. I wasn't hearing a song from an early Canadian singer-songwriter type - I was hearing Paul.

One question remains: where is Get Back Again?????

Paul, why no Get Back Again? Come on Paul! We've waited almost 20 years, now's the time! (Although to be fair, you didn't write it...)

Get your acoustic and a mic, record it in the Bathouse living room, no problem. Mav, make it happen...

want to be a nobody without peer
want to be a thought that's never done
want to shake your faith in human nature
want to break the hearts of everyone
want to be your wheezing screen door
want to be your stars of Algonquin
want to be your roaring floorboard
want to break the hearts of everyone

Wow, I wasn't really paying attention to news about this album, but after hearing that song last night before the game, I'm intrigued.

I never noticed before, but at the 50 second mark in the video, Johnny Bower takes a shot right off the face.

Damn, I hope this is available somewhere in the States.
I can't see paying 63% of the total price just for shipping.

Anybody know if this will only be available through iTunes and Maplemusic? Or will I be able to just pick it up at HMV on release day? Just curious.

During his radio interview last week I believe he stated iTunes, Maplemusic and shops around Kingston (he named them).
I do not recall anything else.
