TSN keeps showing how great Halak is doing. Number-wise, he's doing better this playoff run than Roy ever did. As far as number of saves and save percentage goes anyways.
Where would they be without him? From watching most of the Washington series, Montreal got terribly outplayed for most of the games. He was there standing strong (save for one game). Without him, they'd be playing the Leafs next round.

same can be said for the pittsburgh series, although fleury was as bad as halak was good

I say if Bruins win game 7, it'll be a damn good series against Montreal.
If Philly wins, I hope like all hell that the Habs beat the crap out of them.

this is why those long nhl contracts are stupid, Luongo is going to make $10mil next season...ouch!
A cup run would have softened that blow, now it just seems outrageous..
Personally I want Philly to beat Boston for a couple reasons..
I hate Boston and if they lose they cant win the Cup..yay!
I want to see how loud Montreal boo's Briere everytime he touches the puck
The way things are going i dont think it matters who we play anymore, but I like our chances against Philly better.
How bout a Montreal-Chicago final, that would be sweet.

wow what a frikin game. . my heart cracked a lil
4-3 after 4-3 ; being done 3-0 Again! and comin back, beyond epic. That was just too damn fitting.
I wonder if Laviolette told his team after being done 3-0:: "we have been down 3-0 before boys, and we've comeback, lets do it again!" just madness, thats a lot of hurtin.
What id give to be watching that game with Grapes;
God dagm, i bled yellow and brown last night
Now nemi vs nabi? Wow, no idea about what will erupt in Phili sunday; two big game 7 high's

Flyers are up 2-0 and have outscored the Habs 9-0 in 2 games. But It aint over til it's over (ask the Bruins). Montreal should be rockin for the next 2 games. I like how the Flyers have played so far in the series and Leighton has been good when he has to be.

Well 3-1 again, hope they can do this again....
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Almost time for the finals to begin. Flyers vs Hawks should be agreat series, both teams have great forwards, gold medal winning defencemen and surprising goalies (at the start of the playoffs anyways). I will stick with my Flyers and say they win it in 6 games. Anyone else have a prediction, I am guessing most people will pick Chicago.

Hawks in 6, i think their defence is better and well suited to take on the Philly forwards, and they just have more firepower imo... but it will be close and hard fought, i dont think either team will get rolled over.
And will Leighton or Niemi hold up under the pressure of the Cup finals?
Should be good whomever wins, but Im picking Chicago regardless just cause of my deep hate for the Flyers.

Flyers have tied the series at 2-2, it's a best of 3 series left. This has been a great final so far, with some great hockey being played. Both teams have had their moments. Philly has all the momentum right now. Should be a great finish to the series. GO FLYERS.
