Well, the Flyers made it in, it was a great game, I can't believe it went to a shootout. Lundquist was awesome today as the flyers outshot the rangers 48-25 (or something like that.)

Congrats to your Flyers, they deserved to win the game today. Lundqvist was the only reason the Rangers even had a shot.

i was hoping for the rangers today as well....how does fonzie explain sending out christenson, parenteau & jokinen while gaborik eats pine in the shootout? with your season on the line, you have to leave it in the hands of your best players imo

I see what you're saying, but i have no problem with the shootout line-up he put forth. Christensen & Jokinen have a combined 32 shootout goals between them. Christensen is something like 54% too, which is near tops.
PA Parenteau is either 3/3 or 4/4 now & he scored the winners in each of the Rangers previous 2 shootouts (and he scored today).
Marian Gaborik is just brutal in shootouts, he's 2 for 18 lifetime. Chris Drury has a terrible record in them as well, something like 3 for 16.

How about that performance today by Sidney Crosby!! I watched some of the 2nd period, and then starting watching again with about 10 minutes left in the 3rd period. I honestly don't think i've ever seen him play better.
Draft Lottery is Tuesday night @ 8pm et. The following teams have a shot at 1st overall.
1. NY Islanders, 25% of winning lottery, 48.2% of picking 1st
2. Boston, 18.8%
3. Florida, 14.2%
4. Columbus, 10.7%
5. NY Islanders, 8.1%

fixed....it was a sweet game for crosby i thought he was going to take the art ross today, he had 5 pts halfway through the game, but a whole bunch of dumbass penalties, especially by malkin, killed the dream

Normally i'd be cheering for the Habs to take down the Caps, but i'm in 3 hockey pools & i'd be screwed in 2 of them if the Caps went out this early. Plus, i'm hoping for a Pittsburgh/Washington re-match!

The playoffs have been very exciting so far. Some overtime games and very close games. all series are tied at 1 so far (except Chicago and they play today). I hope my Flyers can keep winning against New Jersey.

Playoffs have been great this year IMO. Alot of really close games, with alot of really nice goals, hits and saves. I'm a huge Bruins fan and really hope we can get past the Sabres !!
This year is very wide open...pittsburgh from the Eastern Conference and Chicago from the Western Conference are probably the favourites, but I would not be surprised to see Washington,New Jersey,Buffalo,Vancouver,SJ, and Detroit all out in the 1st round !!
Go Bruins Go !!

I'm glad i loaded up on Penguins in my hockey pool, the Crosby/Guerin/Kunitz line has 8 points tonight through 2 periods! My 4th Penguin is Ponikorovsky.
In his last 9 games played, Sidney Crosby has 26 points!
