The tone of Rob's slide work on Scar has always appealed to me. Smooth, yet at the same time its got some aggression...

Two of the three Hip songs that I really do not like are up against each other.

What shall I do?

It's like voting in a republican primary.

I really can't believe how much people on here don't like 'Vaccination Scar'; I think it's an amazing tune, especially live! :thumb:

Also, remember that The Hip did not even play it once on their last tour. So you may be in the minority.

Well, it certainly seems that way; I just can't understand why it is. I remember I was blown away by VC when I first heard it as an opener on TNIT. It's a shame they've dropped it from their set, especially when songs like 'The Drop Off' still seem to get a semi regular airing...

Listening to the live version from the amphitheatre (canada day 2004) gord doesn't sound very enthusiastic when he's singing it, at least to me. Same with most of the "new" songs at that show. I think Grace, Too was the next song and he sounds more pumped to be playing that one.

Mind you, it was a brand new song that they had only played 4 times up until then. He even forgot the lyrics to at least one or two IBE songs that night.
