[Zenith]

Hey guys, I like many of you I'm sure, really enjoyed the acoustic interludes at the shows this year. It's always cool to hear alternative versions of songs etc. So, I've started putting together a compilation/torrent which (I hope) to get a version of every acoustic song played over the 2009 tour.

Ok, according to the stats (big thanks to sherpa for making my life a hell of a lot easier!) these are all the songs played acoustically:

Boots or Hearts
Fiddler's Green
Courage
Wheat Kings
Greasy Jungle
Scared
An Inch An Hour
Titanic Terrarium
Ahead By A Century
Flamenco
Bobcaygeon
Thompson Girl
Fireworks
The Rules
Music @ Work
Lake Fever
Toronto #4
The Bear
New Orleans Is Beat
Are We Family
Morning Moon
The Last Recluse
Coffee Girl

The songs in Red are ones that I've already got at least one version of (although, I'd be open to offers of different ones if the sound quality is better etc). The rest are ones that I need versions of. I'm gonna trawl through the tracker to try and find others, but I'm making an appeal to any tapers which have versions of any of the missing songs which haven't been circulated yet if they could send them to me please?

I think this could be a really great compilation, and it would be awesome to get the whole lot!

Thanks everyone! :thumb:

Edit: Songs in Blue are ones that I'm in the process of downloading from the Tracker - Big thanks to Mr. Dave and markslog as they seems to have caught loads of the rare ones!

[Zenith]

Ok, just missing two tracks now. Does anyone have them? I've been through all of the torrents for 2009 (I think) on the tracker - I could well have missed them though.

This is a great idea Ben! I'd love to hear all of the acoustic songs from the tour in one shot.

After seeing last night's "stripped down" show, I really want to get my acoustic guitar fixed up and start learning how to play it.

Titanic Terrarium
Ahead By A Century

It looks like the last 2 you need are from this show: http://www.thehiptracker.com/details.php?id=206

Cool, thanks! I've lost track of what I have and haven't downloaded now!

You are talking Audio right
Oh that set on DVD would be plain silly
Can't wait for the Audio though.

Yeah, just audio for now. Maybe DVD in the future, but that would be a much longer term project.

As I read your list you've got everything you need now, right?

Yeah, I have at least one version of every song (your torrent of the 2009-05-09 - Boston, MA show had finished by the time I got in from the pub!) so I'm good to go. If you know of any versions of certain songs which are particularly good then please let me know. :thumb: Cheers, Chris.

Thanks for taking the initiative on this, Ben! Been thinking how cool this would be since the tour started. Speaking of which, how about using "The Bear" from 04/24/2009 since it's the first time it was ever played? :thumb:

Yes, great idea.
A video collaboration would be even cooler.
I have some great still HD acoustic vids that i would love to offer up for use.
I'll throw up the list soon.

That could work. I was trying to think of a way in which we could compile all the other songs, but I though it might not be that practical. Does anyone know if all these "Under ten" songs got taped?
