The guest was Emmanualle Chriqui...not sure what she's on, and they didn't really discuss it. She's Canadian so the first question was do you like hockey...and the second one was do you like The Tragically Hip? She said yes...and Jimmy said he's a fan...but not quite a big fan. The other guest, Will Arnett (also Canadian) mentioned Blow at High Dough...but he didn't really seize the moment to discuss the band. Kind of cool to hear Jimmy's a fan...maybe an appearance just might happen down the road...

A few shows ago Jimmy asked fans to tweet him what bands they wanted to see on his show.

They did briefly discuss entourage which is a great show, and for those of you who missed it, you can dl just the clip (not the entire show) here:

It almost sounds like he's covering Wheat Kings... the right chords and almost the right rhythm.

That was awesome.
Jimmy Fallon has a great show - too bad it is on so late for my old ass.
Did you see when he had Zack Morris from Saved By the Bell On?

I didn't know whether to laugh or vomit when I saw that. But now I know I just want to punch Jimmy Fallon in the face.

too bad someone of value like craig ferguson, conan or letterman aren't talking about the Hip. Fallon just irritates me.

YES. I watched that particular episode of Jimmy, the only funny part was the canadian food basket .
Arnett shoulda seized that moment and Hipped on.. instead he cut it off himself, saying 'wat is this? a segment about the hip'
besides that; Jimmy Fallon STINKS!!.he was great on SNL. but on late night he is soo disconnected from the audience and his jokes. Worst improv skills . His interview skills are even worse....I feel bad for the Roots.
I have boycotted him!! I'll only catch the last five minutes for a performance.
Neil covers Prince . WOW. thanks

I'm also trying to find something funny about his show but having a hard time. Now, if he can get the boys to perform I will have a completely different outlook and disposition. For now I'll likely be sleeping through Fallon's Late Night.
