Can't see this obsession with DFN myself. It's good but just DARK, and the dreary production doesn't help either. It was the first new album I bought having gotten into them after first hearing FC and then picking up RA. DFN was a right old shocker, and I still rarely listen to it. It's the "fans' favourite" and all that but not for me. Maybe I'll have a DFN epiphany one day? Hope so . Anyway - buy M@W next - great from start to finish.

You're right, VioletLite, you've got to get ALL of them! I'd start with DFN, then PP, UTH, M@W, IVL, and just take it from there. (You can probably save the self-titled EP til the last).

wow, i can't believe there's not more love for up to here in this thread. i f'n love that album.
that said, the other choices are great too. but uth just rocks it out for me. guess it's because that's where it started for me, but still...
