Why would I give up my site? I think you miss read the post. I am asking for donations to supplement my hosting bill. If I was looking for a free host I would ask... I have been running this site since 2002. Why not ask for some help? I don't have time for shirts or ads.

I didn't say "give up your site". I said I'd host it on my server, saving you any out of pocket expense. It's still your site, and you'd manage it. It would just be on my hosting account. And what time is required to put ads on the site?

lol, pot stirred. Seriously though if that's what's going on I'll donate to the base lance, just need about a week and then exams will be done and I will have a chance to go to the bank and deposit some money.

Holy fuck. Lance is looking for money to cover the cost of hosting. I offered to host it for free. He'd rather get your money than host his site, for free, on my hosting account.

For some reason he doesn't want to accept my donation of hosting - he'd rather get donations from the users. It doesn't make any sense to me, but what do I know...

I had no idea that offering to cover 100% of the hosting costs for this site would make me the bad guy.

Seeing as how you don't know me, that thought didn't enter my mind. And if that is the case, why not just PM me with that info as soon as I first posted my offer?

No Chris haters here, he's helped me out more then anybody on the forums over the years. Anyways back to the matter at hand, not meaning to be rude or to sound accusatory lance, but would it be relevant for you to post some data as to how much money you're short so if you're short say $80 (I have no idea how much just using this as a number) people don't come along and donate $130? Transparency.
