Pretty awesome show. I thought it was cool when Paul and Robby were playing bobcaygeon while Gord was singing durning a game of pool. Music@Work was awesome. Never heard an acoustic version of that song.

Rock 101.9 out of cornwall was there taking names for a contest to win two tickets for the Hip in Montreal. Of course i didn't win, but i did win a free WATS poster and my girlfriend won a another copy of the album. There was a couple of real lucky people that won a vinyl copy of the new album as well. Pretty good turnout in the cornwall theatre i thought. There was probably 30-40 people.

Calling Now the Struggle Has a name and The Last Recluse duds is absolutly moronic. This clown needs to stop listening to Nickleback.

I dunno bout you guys but this is one of those "Events" that'll go down in my Hip Lore books as something that'll I'll always remember, it was that fucking great to be there in the theatre and be witness firsthand that night, just wicked...

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

I agree with Chris on this one. True, there is a fan boy mentality on here sometimes, especially about negative criticism (But, this is a fan site afterall). Criticism of any kind is welcome for me, as long as it's explained why beyond "it sucks", "it's weak" etc. I don't really care how music affects your brain juice - that is "I like it", "I hate it". Why do some people love Miley Cyrus and others SlipKnot? Who cares? I'm intersted in why it affects your brain juice - "Rob's guitar is technically tight and just moves me", "It doesn't do anything for me becasue..." Give me something that allows me to relate to your likes and dislikes of something I'm interested in. For example, when people say they hate WC because it just doesn't sound like their old stuff, I move right along to the next post.

Of course I have a 100 degree fever, am dosed up on Nyquil and after rereading this, realized not only did I not make my point very strongly, I kinda sound like an idiot. Did I make enough sense here to get a reply beyond "you're an idiot"?

"It's hard to say, it's sad but true, I'm kinda dumb, and, so are you"

don't worry, that was a good post, and a point worth making, we should all try to at least save the unfounded criticism for general discussion, that's what i do :thumb: .

Cool video's but I thought Gord's voice sounded really really strained on Country Day. I think it would be more effective if he turned it down a notch and sang it a little softer like he did with Bobcaygeon.
