Man, Pens looked great, then took a nap, almost got beat, but pulled it out. That is so disturbing to me. They may get away with that crap against the likes of Tampon Bay but not against anyone else that is playoff bound. Sid had a great game though and the whole team was gellin' when they got desperate.
BTW Sid is just 21 friggin' years old... he is gonna be all over those record books before he is done and he is not paid to be a fighter, doesn't wear the "C" for free, he can't fight, but at least he's done with the 'turtle' deal...he is growing up and he is a true team mate and leader, did I mention he is still only 21.
and... Malkin got 2 more pts.!! :jump but, why didn't they put Malkin in earlier with the empty net, I would have put him in.

The chances look good that they will slip into 8th place.
Then they can try to repeat Koivu's return and wipe out the first place Bruins again. That sure would smart for Julien.
Or they can get blown out of the water by the Bruins. Either-or. Hell, the season is young!
Too bad hockey ain't played on paper -- the Habs were looking pretty good there, last fall.

HUGE news out of Montreal, apparently, Schneider skated at practice this morning, and from what was reported, it will be up to him to determine wether or not he will play tonight, and if he feels that he's ready to go, that he will be dressed and in the lineup tonight in Boston...i'm sure his minutes would be limited stricttly to the power-play, but still, i'd have to say that this is good news. Regardless of what happens tonight, i just hope he can make it back for the 2nd season.

Oh my god say it ain't so...As far as Price starting what's wrong with you before he got sick he was playing great and the loss to the Rangers he had around 41 saves and brutal defense...The game is not over yet but it is 4-3 after the 2nd and he has made some big stops. Sure Halak has had some good games but he shit the bed when it mattered against Ottawa horrible winning goal he is not a starter in this league IMO.
