I'm going for emperor Penguin. That would kick ass.

I submitted a dumb question just so I could put in a vote for Membership..... Q: Gord Downie, are you nervous that the Bruins will choke in the play-offs? 8)

[fingernailsonhull]

Great question fingernailsonhull :thumb:

Why, thank you. I figure it's just kookie enough to get picked.

I asked for Opiated. A really underplayed gem... but I'm not holding my breath here!

same here.

What was your question?

Mine was:
You have released several bonus tracks with past albums (Fighter, Fighter - Night is Forgetting - No Threat)
With the release of WATS will the 2 bonus tracks that we have to pay extra for (Skeleton Park and Hush) be performed live or thrown away like the others?
Road Apples: Fight

There's a real verison of Fighter, Fighter????? hock:

Yes, but it was an exclusive track only available to the first user everyday to login to the mia network and pay $999.99. And for that price you also got a limited editon vinyl of In Violet Light.
I mean - oops.

I just read ALL the questions. They have a lot of good questions to chose from. It will be very interesting to see how much time they spend answering questions.

I bet they play Grace, Too...

[WesleyC.]

 Of those top 5 songs Another Midnight would fit best on the new album. So even though I voted for Another Midnight, Im gonna say that Another Midnight should be played. So once again Another Midnight.

I can't believe I am the only one that asked for Trickle Down.

And I asked a generic question in the hopes that it gets asked. The hardcore Q's never do.

Yea, I don't see them spending too much time with the Q & A from fans. This thing is probably only 2 hours, and I'll bet most of that time will be spent performing the songs with a few short questions sprinkled in between. Strombo will get more interview time with the band than the fans will.

If want to get your question asked on air, your question should be "How cool and irreverent do you think George Stroumboulopoulos is? And what is it about him that confirms that degree of coolness and irreverency: (a) his all-black clothing or (b) his soul patch? This is a question for all the members of the band to respond to individually."

I sure hope he asks a few questions hunched over on the edge of his seat with his elbows on his thighs and his hands clasped between his knees; those are usually the most irreverent ones.

I almost wish Peter Mansbridge, from CBC news, was hosting this.
He is a HUGE fan of The Hip!
