Radiohead Re-Issues
#1

This was news to me but Radiohead has re-issued Pablo Honey, The Bends and OK Computer into collector's edition albums with b-sides, demos and live tracks. Even thought its probably a money grab, its a good money grab, and Im such a completist when it comes to music, so Im all for ideas like this.

Here's a review for The Bends CE: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://music.ign.com/articles/965/965814p1.html">http://music.ign.com/articles/965/965814p1.html</a><!-- m -->

(links to the other album reviews are on the sidebar near the bottom, if you want to know what each album offers.)

Isn't that EMI re-releasing the stuff?

Radiohead effed off and as if taking a backhand slap to their departure, EMI put out the "greatest hits" cds which only managed to make the band seem like a mediocre singles-maker. I'm pretty sure the band also told their fans not to buy it.

Anyway, I'm glad I have most of their LPs before this re-issue. As far as their b-sides go...there are hundreds of tracks of unreleased stuff captured or taped by fans that is floating around in various places. Most of it is only interesting to listen to, little of it is any good. That I've heard anyways.

RH is not telling folks to get this on their website - so yes it is a lable and not a band grab
