Opening song prediction??
#1

Ok, so Ive listened to the 10 second preview clips, but cant bring myself to illegally download any of the poor quality full songs. I will wait.
But from the preview clips, I actually LOVE the sound of Speed River.
And officially guess speed river as the WATS tour opening song.
Whats your guess?

I was thinking about this earlier, and this album is really hard to read as per an opening song.
I could be way off with this, but Frozen In My Tracks.

Man, that would be a killer opener. Honey Please or Love is a First would also work.

na, I have a feeling Frozen in my Tracks is going to be a late set rocker, a la Fire in the Hole, Drop Off, Wherewithal... i'd love to hear Queen of the Furrows as an opener. I think the more likely opener off the new album is Love is a First. it starts up beat but tame then explodes. seems to fit the profile of a good opener.

Morning Moon, just like the album.

It will probably be Love is a First. I would love to see more openers like Don't Wake Daddy. Keep us guessing every night. I always thought Yawning or Snarling would make a great opener.

Love Is a First one night. Morning Moon the next. Third TBD single the night after. Rinse. Wash. Repeat.
Band is way too predicitable with the opener as a tour gets rolling.

Love is a First has opener written all over it.

I'm gonna have to say Love is a First or Morning Moon as well.
But nothing will beat Grace for me!

I saw them open with Don't wake Daddy in Guelph on father's day. It was awesome, but I'd be willing to bet my big toes that it's gonna be Love is a First for the majority of the tour.

When I heard that drum beat kick in I thought to myself, "WOW! They haven't opened with Grace, Too in a while but the beat sounds just a little off" Then I nearly shat my pants in excitement!!!

I have a feeling it will be Love Is A First. I would like to hear Country Day as the opening tune.

On the WC Tour In View and Yer Not The Ocean were the opening tunes more often than not. As well one was the opener while the other was the opener to the encore. I am sure they will stick to this format on the WATS Tour!!
