Whatever one's game is got to stay in control...when it is lost no matter what is at hand it usually ends up bad.

I get gating drunks at shows but those who are high are usually the ones who are epxeriencing the music on a much more emotional level and they will never be annoying or belligerent. Not that you can't experience a concert on a profoundly emotional level while sober. It's just that you're listening less and feeling more; not processing the sounds intellectually but rather on a much more intuitive level.

But the way someone who's high and someone who's drunk acts and perceives any given experience is so different that you can't compare the two.

Ya depends on the person, and the band.
If Im seeing someone like George Thorogood or David Wilcox who rocks all the fun drinking songs, obviously getting wasted with my friends and rockin out to him along with all the other fans is great fun. That kind of music isnt deep or emotional like the hip.
Although, im not saying getting drunk and going to see the Hip would not be bad, Ive only gone sober but I will def party before one of my Kitchener shows!!
And no worries- I can keep it under control I wont annoy or hurl on anyone hahaha

I'm sure the band still likes to burn a joint every now and then. I think their days of hardcore partying are over though.
Also on the topic of people at concerts. At the last Darien Lake show i was just standing there jamming away as the hip were playing. Then a guy taps me on the shoulder and hands me a bowl packed full of weed. He let myself and my girlfriend to smoke the whole thing. lol

Isnt talking about the rules of Fight Club talking about Fight Club? Am I talking about Fight Club right now?

The fight club bit is in reference to partying with the band. There is a smokers code that states members of Local 420 may only speak about famous people they have smoked up with while in the process of smoking up. All information must be kept confidential and not shared with nonunion members.

A bunch of us took Mushrooms before the Kingston Krock center opening show last year. Well it was all fun and games till I looked at the pictures and videos I took with my camera. Basically it was ALLFUCKEDUP. I took videos of the ciling and ground and the back of peoples heads and my pictures were all weird as I was totally unable to keep the camera still.
Never again.
Im sticking to having a few drinks and keeping it cool.
